Privacy Notice (KVKK)

This notice is provided under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and explains how we process the personal data you share through the meeting request form on jetnet-global.com. In case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.

Personal data we process

When you complete the meeting request form, we process:

  • Identity and contact: full name, email address
  • Professional information: your organisation and title
  • Request details: the area of interest you select, what you write about your project, and the language page you used
  • Transaction security: an irreversible digest (hash) of your IP address, used to prevent misuse

Please do not include personal data that is not needed for your request in the free-text field, in particular special categories of data such as health, religion or political opinions.

Purposes of processing

We process your personal data to:

  • receive and review your meeting request and respond to you
  • arrange meetings for suitable requests and carry out preliminary work towards a business relationship
  • prevent misuse of the form and automated (bot) submissions, and maintain information security
  • comply with our legal obligations and protect our rights in the event of a dispute

Your personal data is collected electronically and by automated means when you complete the meeting request form on our website.

It is processed on the following legal grounds under Article 5(2) of the KVKK:

  • (c) processing is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (reviewing your request and establishing a possible business relationship)
  • (f) processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (form security and preventing misuse)
  • (e) processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right

Transfer of personal data

Information submitted through the form is not stored on our website or in a database. It is forwarded as a single email to JetNet Global’s corporate email addresses and is seen only by the JetNet Global executives who review your request.

Our website hosting and email services are provided by our service provider, Hostinger, and your data is processed on its infrastructure for that purpose. Where the provider’s servers are located outside Türkiye, the transfer is carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK.

If your request concerns a partner, investor or institution in China, it may need to be shared with our team in Beijing or Qingdao, or with a potential business partner. We do this only after informing you and obtaining your separate explicit consent.

Your personal data may be disclosed to competent public authorities where required by law. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Retention

Emails relating to your request are kept for as long as necessary to review your request and maintain any resulting business relationship, subject to statutory retention periods, and are then deleted or anonymised.

IP address digests kept to prevent misuse are deleted automatically after no more than one hour.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to apply to the data controller to:

  • learn whether your personal data is processed,
  • request information about such processing,
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly,
  • know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred,
  • request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
  • request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK,
  • request that correction, deletion or destruction be notified to third parties to whom your data has been transferred,
  • object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis of your data,
  • claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.

How to apply

You may submit requests regarding your rights, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller:

  • by email to info@jetnet-global.com, with information that allows us to verify your identity, or
  • in writing to our address above.

Your request will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest. Where the process involves an additional cost, a fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
