Leadership at the Helm: Bahadır Gören

Education

University of Humberside and Linconshire – England – BA Business Administration – Bridgwater College – England – BTEC Business Administration and Finance

Career

Bahadır Gören started his career in the automotive sector at Sanderson Ford, the largest multi-automotive retail brand in the UK. In 1995, he returned to Turkey and assumed the position of Regional Sales Manager and Branch Manager positions in Ford Turkey.

Gören was appointed as the General Manager of Seat Brand in 2001 and assumed as Board Member of Doğuş Automotive Brands of VW, Audi, Skoda, Porsche, Bentley and Scania. He then became the Managing Director at LeasePlan Doğuş, a fleet leasing company established in partnership with LeasePlan Corporation N.V. and Doğuş Automotive.

He simultaneously assumed the General Management positions of the South Korean automotive brand SsangYong and DFSK, one of the most important brands of China, in Turkey.

Following his experiences in the automotive sector, he assumed the position of Group President of Altınbaş Jewellery, Turkey’s largest jewellery chain.

Bahadır Gören completed his professional life in the private sector as the Mining Group President at Doğa Group in 2018, here he established important collaborations especially in block marble production and export to China.

Current Activities

Currently, he provides consultancy services in the development of trade between China and Turkey and adds value to both countries with the JetNet Global company he founded.

JetNet operates in the fields of investment consultancy and project development in the areas needed with the most prominent professional leaders of the sector.
